
The College of Electrical Engineering holds a seminar on the energy industry in the Middle East.
A seminar titled “Energy Industry in the Middle East” was held at the College of Electrical Engineering. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Habib Mohammed, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department. The lecturer’s participation and attendance at the International Energy Industry Exhibition, recently held in the United Arab Emirates, highlighted the most important and latest technologies and equipment in the electrical energy industry, such as insulators, power towers, transformers, circuit breakers, and their global manufacturers. The seminar was attended by the Dean’s Assistants and a number of faculty members and students from both within and outside the college, including the Dean of the College of Production and Metallurgical Engineering and the assistants. The floor was then opened for discussion, questions, and comments, which were answered. At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturer was honored with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding efforts in organizing the workshop.
