Division objectives

·     Informing students and graduates of the importance of training courses and workshops that qualify them to compete for the best job opportunities and keep pace with the developments taking place in private sector companies.
·     Obtaining information from graduates about the curricula they have benefited from in their practical lives and the curricula that could be added, and contacting relevant authorities regarding the addition of these curricula.
·     Meeting the requirements of the public and private sectors for university staff in engineering and scientific specialties, from both genders.
·     Effectively contributing to reducing the unemployment rate among graduates.

Tasks and duties of the division

Preparing and implementing training programs and workshops for students and graduates in line with the labor market.
Holding courses on CV writing, interview techniques, and English language courses.
Holding an annual job fair, inviting private sector companies, employers, and university graduates.
Providing advice and guidance to students and graduates on how to prepare for job searches.
Encouraging students to establish their own projects through joint courses and workshops with the private sector and periodic competitions with other universities.
Working to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and trying to change misconceptions among new students and graduates regarding relying solely on government jobs and trying to obtain jobs. Matching their abilities and academic specializations by working in the private sector or by establishing their own projects.
Activating online workshops and courses in cooperation with private sector companies.
