Lecture on Cybersecurity and Social Engineering Held

The Electrical Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education and the National Security Advisory, hosted an awareness lecture on “Psychological Messaging, Social Engineering, and Cybersecurity” on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Dijlah Hall. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Naeem Hussein.

The session focused on methods to safeguard students from cyber extortion through social media and smartphones and strategies to combat such incidents. The event was attended by the director of the Continuing Education Center, department associates, and a large audience of faculty, staff, and students.
