Workshop Highlights the Role of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate

The Electrical Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, organized a workshop titled “The Role of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate and Membership Benefits”. The event was attended by the department head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Montadhar Sami Shaker, faculty members, and fourth-year students.

Speakers included Abdulrahman Riad and Eng. Khalid Waleed from the syndicate, alongside Asst. Prof. Sabah Abdul Hassan from the University of Technology. Topics covered included the rights of engineers, the Engineers’ Pension Fund, and mechanisms for supporting engineers through training and employment opportunities.

The workshop concluded with a Q&A session to address participants’ queries.
