Postgraduate Diploma Project on Smart Grid Protection
Graduate student Jaber Mohammed Mzeed presented his postgraduate diploma project titled “Protection Equipment for Medium Voltage Overhead Lines in Smart Grids” on January 11, 2018.
The committee consisted of:
- Dr. Afaneen Anwar Aboud (Chair)
- Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal (Member)
- Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed (Supervisor).
The project proposed a remote-controlled smart protection system to enhance the reliability of medium-voltage networks. It was well-received, earning the student a “Distinction” grade.
