Seminar on Software-Defined Radio Technology

The Electrical Engineering Department hosted another seminar titled “Software-Defined Radio: A New Trend in Advanced Systems Implementation”.

Presented by Dr. Hadi Tarish Zabon, Mr. Jaber Hamid Majid, and Mr. Mohannad Youssef Mohsen, the session took place in Dijla Hall with the attendance of department officials and staff.

The seminar discussed the emerging Software-Defined Radio (SDR) technology, known for its flexibility, accuracy, compact size, and cost-effectiveness. The speakers highlighted its application in the design of future communication systems such as 4G to 7G networks. Discussions and Q&A followed to delve deeper into the topic.
