College of Electrical Engineering organizes a workshop on the importance of summer training

A workshop entitled ((The importance of summer training) was held at the College of Electrical Engineering in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal, the head of the Summer Training Unit, Dr. Luay Ghali Ibrahim, and the third stage students of the branches of electrical engineering and electronic engineering. The importance of summer training was discussed as an essential part of the graduation requirements and the student must pass it successfully. As the duration of the training is 4 weeks, it gives the student the opportunity to develop knowledge and applied skills. This, in turn, helps the student to accept and adapt to the nature of work, develop communication skills with others and develop their experiences, skills and abilities in a way that enhances students’ individual learning skills and provides an opportunity to interact and cooperate with trainers at work sites with experience and specialization. It also gives students a high level of positive feeling and satisfaction towards the profession. It helps to understand the needs and characteristics of the environment in which they work and provides the student with the opportunity to obtain practical experiences that enhance their employment opportunities after graduation.
