
An instructor from the Department of Electrical Engineering lectures at the fifth course for the preparation of trainers in updated teaching methods at Baghdad University
Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Hassan Ali from the University of Technology / Department of Electrical Engineering participated as a lecturer among a group of experts and trainers from Iraqi universities in the fifth course within the project to prepare trainers in the updated teaching methods at the University of Baghdad, which is part of the government program within the program (development of teaching methods courses in Iraqi universities towards blended learning). A number of lectures were delivered in person and electronically within the curriculum of the course organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up. The course lasted for a whole month and was hosted by Al-Kufa University in Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate, where the in-person part of the course took two separate weeks. The course addressed the concepts and strategies of the teaching and learning processes according to modern systems supported by e-learning, as well as strengthening the basic pillars for the development of education in Iraqi universities, including those related to the basic concepts of education, instructional design, measurement and evaluation, facilitation strategies, digital content development, quality education, professional ethics, scientific publishing, and scientific research methodology.
