Awareness Workshop on Combating Violence Against Women

Under the patronage of University President Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghaban, the Electrical Engineering Department hosted an awareness workshop titled Causes and Solutions for Violence Against Women on December 6, 2022.

The session, led by Dr. Sundus Dhamad Hassan and Mrs. Atab Ahmad Asfaih, aimed to raise awareness about violence against women, its causes, and its societal impact. Participants were encouraged to speak out, seek legal and medical support, and understand available resources.

The workshop concluded with a discussion session addressing attendees’ questions and suggestions.
