Doctoral Dissertation Defense in Electrical Engineering

On April 6, 2017, the Department of Electrical Engineering hosted the doctoral defense of Suhail Najm Ubaid. His dissertation, titled “Compensation for the Effects of Material Impurities Using Digital Signal Processing Algorithms in Dense Optical Signal Multiplexing Systems”, explored mitigating the impact of linear and non-linear material impurities on optical communication networks.

The dissertation committee included:
