Electrical Engineering Department Organizes an Awareness Workshop on (Bloodborne Diseases)

As part of a series of scientific activities in the department, the Department of Electrical Engineering, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, organized a workshop on (blood-borne diseases) at the Euphrates Hall in the department. The workshop was attended by the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal, heads of scientific branches and a number of professors and employees of the department… During the workshop, which was conducted by Senior Laboratory Assistant Laila Hassan Ali / Ministry of Health, Prof. Dr. Wissam Hassan Ali and Prof. Dr. Samim Abbas Salman. The lecturers addressed several issues, including blood-borne diseases such as AIDS, viral infections of all kinds and syphilis, how the diseases are transmitted and how to prevent them, and the tests provided by the Ministry of Health to control these diseases. At the end of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the lecturers and the floor was opened for discussion and answers to inquiries and comments.
