Electrical Engineering Department Participates in University Graduation Ceremony

The Electrical Engineering Department participated in the 42nd graduation ceremony of the University of Technology, titled “Liberation and Reconstruction Class”, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, in the university gardens.

The event was attended by the Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the University President. Representing the department were the head, deputies, branch heads, council members, faculty, and 134 graduates across Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering specializations.

The ceremony included the granting of bachelor’s degrees, the recitation of the university oath, and the honoring of top-performing students. Hassan Faez Hamid was recognized as the top graduate university-wide, while Omar Khudair and Ahmed Abbas Ali were second and third in the department, respectively.
