The thesis, presented by graduate student Ruaa Saeed Obaida, was titled “Design and Implementation of an Electronic Atlas for the Ministry of Higher Education of Baghdad Universities Based on UNESCO Requirements Using GIS.”

The study proposed an interactive web-based application providing a digital map of Baghdad’s universities, connected to a database containing essential information about each institution in line with UNESCO standards. The map was developed using GIS Cloud, while the MDC application was used on Android and iOS devices for real-time data collection.

The student was awarded a Master’s degree with distinction following a thorough discussion of the thesis.
