Faculty Members and Graduate Student Secure Patent

Dr. Jawad Kadhim Ali, Dr. Ali Jabbar Salem, and master’s student Haider Salah Ahmed were granted a patent for their innovation titled “Shield Filter for Reducing Electromagnetic Wave Leakage from Microwave Ovens”.

The invention aims to minimize the health risks posed by electromagnetic wave emissions from aging microwave ovens. Developed in collaboration with the Electronic Manufacturing Center, the shield underwent rigorous testing and sets a new standard for consumer safety.
