High Diploma Project: Solar PV Distribution
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 9:00 AM, student Ali Mahmoud Hussein defended his high diploma project, Enhancing Distribution System Performance Using Solar PV Distribution Generators, in Rafidain Hall.
The study proposed a method to determine optimal locations and capacities for PV distribution generators in radial systems using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The research focused on the Akremin feeder in the Babylon Province distribution network.
The committee consisted of:

- Dr. Jassim Farhoud Hussein
- Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal (Supervisor and Member)
The project was approved, and the student received a “Pass” grade.
