Scientific Symposium on Iraq’s Energy Strategy

Under the patronage of University of Technology President Dr. Ameen Dawai Thamer, the Department of Electrical Engineering hosted a symposium titled “Strategy and Management of Electrical Energy in Iraq” on April 13, 2017.

The event, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity, featured discussions on energy management, consumption reduction, and renewable energy. Researchers from government ministries, universities, and industry presented eight specialized studies during two sessions.

Dr. Azad Raheem Karim and Dr. Hesham Salim Aneid chaired the sessions. The event concluded with awards presented to researchers, session leaders, and organizing committees.
