Scientific Visit to Baghdad South Power Station

As part of its scientific activities, the Electrical Engineering Department organized a field visit for fourth-year students to the Baghdad South Power Station on April 4, 2019.

Under the supervision of Prof. Inaam Ibrahim Ali and department faculty, students learned about the station’s operations, national grid dynamics, and fault management strategies. Station engineers provided an in-depth tour, fostering practical understanding of power system challenges.

The students expressed gratitude for the opportunity, which enhanced their academic experience and practical knowledge.
