Seminar on Optimal Feedback Control

On November 23, 2017, the Electrical Engineering Department organized a seminar titled “Optimal Feedback Control Using Particle Swarm Optimization”, presented by Dr. Abdul Rahim Diab Hammoud, Dr. Fadel Abbas Hassan, and Mr. Ammar Sami Mohammed in Dijla Hall.

The session detailed feedback control mechanisms and their applications in achieving optimal performance for systems such as DC motors. It emphasized the potential of particle swarm optimization in obtaining ideal feedback control without requiring precise physical system models. A Q&A session concluded the event.
