
Workshop on Virtual E-Learning for Technical University Faculty
The Electrical Engineering Department organized a workshop on virtual e-learning for faculty members from the Middle Technical University. This initiative was part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directive to expand e-learning practices.
The department chair, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dari Mahmoud Youssef, welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of aligning with global educational standards. The workshop, held in the Dijla Hall, featured presentations by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abbas Hussein Issa and Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed, who showcased the CenterSISpro system for academic management, Moodle for e-lectures, and Mahara for e-portfolios. Participants praised the program’s capabilities and the department’s efforts to lead in e-learning.
