Announcement to students wishing to apply for postgraduate studies (Master’s / Doctorate) for the academic year (2025-2026)

We would like to inform students wishing to apply for graduate studies that applications will begin on Sunday, April 5, 2025, and will continue until Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Required documents for applying to graduate studies for the academic year (2025-2026):

  1. A color copy of the electronic application form.
  2. A graduation certificate or confirmation of graduation for a bachelor’s degree for applicants applying for a master’s degree, and for a master’s degree for applicants applying for a doctoral degree, addressed to the College of Electrical Engineering/Graduate Studies Department, stating the following:
     The student’s general specialization.
     The student’s graduation average (both numerical and written).
     The student’s ranking in the class in the specialization.
     The student’s first-place average in the class, and the first- and second-place rankings for both semesters for a specific specialization, for both morning and evening studies.
  3. A graduation certificate for a master’s degree, stating the overall GPA, general specialization, and specific specialization for applicants applying for a doctoral degree.
  4. A certificate of participation and passing the computer skills test.
  5. Certificate of participation and passing the English language test.
  6. Certificate of participation and passing the Arabic language test.
  7. A no-objection letter from the relevant department for the employee, stating the following:
     A statement stating “The department has no objection to the employee applying for graduate studies for the 2025-2026 academic year and granting him/her a study leave if accepted into the desired major.”
     A summary of employment service addressed to the study institution after obtaining the last actual certificate.
  8. For unemployed applicants, they must complete a special form pledging to remain unemployed. This form must be approved by the college’s legal department. The form must be submitted when submitting the application.
  9. For applicants on private funds, they must complete a special form pledging to pay tuition fees during the study period, in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations. The form must be submitted when submitting the application.
  10. The forms must be completed without scratching, crossing out, or using white ink. They must be submitted upon submission of the paper file. They are:

 Application for a student applying for graduate studies for the academic year (2025-2026) (Form 500).
 Application for a graduate studies report for the academic year (2025-2026) (Form 501).
 Application for a graduate studies applicant for the academic year (2025-2026) (Form 504).
 Application for a graduate studies applicant for the academic year (2025-2026) (Form 506), to be completed by the committee during the interview.
 Application for persons with disabilities and special needs covered by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Law No. (38) of 2013, certified by the relevant authority (Form 600).
 A nomination form for a family of martyrs and those covered by the Martyrs Foundation Law, certified by the relevant authority (Form 502).
 A nomination form for a political prisoner and those covered by the provisions of the Political Prisoners Foundation Law, certified by the relevant authority (Form 503).
 A nomination form for a person affected by war operations, military errors, and terrorist operations, certified by the relevant authority (Form 700).

  1. Required Documents:
     (6) recent color photos.
     Unified National ID card.
     Residence card or residence confirmation.
  2. A CD containing clear copies of all documents and paperwork in PDF format.
  3. The student’s full name and type of study must be written on a blank sheet of paper in clear handwriting and placed at the beginning of the paper file.
  4. The student bears full responsibility for the accuracy and validity of the information provided.
  5. Organize a file containing all the original documents and papers listed above, arranged sequentially as follows:

 A red nylon file for students applying for master’s degrees.
 A blue nylon file for students applying for doctoral degrees.

  1. The file must be submitted to the Graduate Studies Department at the college by the student in person, and all signatures on the above forms must be valid signatures.
