Doctoral dissertation at the University of Technology / Department of Electrical Engineering (Intelligent Sign Language Translation System based on Gesture Recognition)

The Department of Electrical Engineering awarded a PhD degree to (Musab Ali Hassan Kazim) for his thesis titled: “Intelligent sign language translation system based on gesture recognition”.

This work deals with the design of an intelligent Arabic sign language translation system capable of converting Arabic sign language (deaf language) into readable messages using artificial intelligence and this work was able to reduce the understanding gap between deaf people and normal people and the accuracy of the work was 99.9%.
