Electrical Engineering Department Hosts Faculty Meeting

On June 1, 2022, the Electrical Engineering Department held a faculty meeting in the Dijlah Hall. Chaired by Dr. Muntazer Sami Shakir, the meeting began with a warm welcome to attendees, followed by a speech expressing gratitude for the faculty’s dedication during the 2021/2022 academic year, which contributed to the success of the educational process despite challenging circumstances.
Discussions covered various department-related topics, including directives from the Minister of Higher Education emphasizing follow-ups and procedural measures. Attendees raised questions and concerns, which were addressed with solutions.
The meeting concluded with a ceremony honoring Dr. Rashid Hamid Matar on his retirement. The faculty praised his over three decades of academic and administrative contributions.
