Electrical Engineering Department Hosts Virtual Learning Workshop

On Thursday, February 9, 2017, the Electrical Engineering Department hosted a workshop on virtual education systems for faculty members from Thi-Qar University’s College of Engineering.

The session, led by Dr. Abbas Hussein Issa and Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed, showcased the department’s e-learning program, which integrates three components: CentreSISpro for education management, Moodle for electronic lectures, and Mahara for e-portfolios. The workshop aimed to familiarize attendees with the software, offering technical insights and support for implementation at their institution.

Participants expressed their admiration for the program’s capabilities, praising the department’s efforts in advancing virtual learning. Contact information and resource materials were provided to facilitate adoption in other universities.
