Faculty Member Publishes Research in a High-Impact Journal

Dr. Raed Thaiban Hamad, an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, published a solo research paper in the International Journal of Electronics and Communications, a high-impact Elsevier journal in Germany.
The paper focused on designing a dual-band three-port diplexer using a U-shaped resonator for advanced wireless communication systems. The innovative design ensures compatibility with WLANs and WiMAX systems, offering high performance and compact size. Laboratory prototypes validated the research findings, showing excellent agreement with simulation results.
