Head of Department Visits Ministry of Electricity’s Training and Energy Research Division

As part of institutional collaboration, a delegation from the Electrical Engineering Department, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Montadhar Sami Shaker, visited the Ministry of Electricity’s Training and Energy Research Division on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

The delegation, which included Dr. Ali Kareem Nahr and Dr. Hussein Kareem Khalaf, was welcomed by Dr. Naseer Kareem Qasim, Assistant General Manager of the division, along with other officials. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between academia and the energy sector to enhance graduates’ skills and improve employability.

Discussions revolved around organizing specialized training programs and fostering knowledge exchange, with a focus on equipping engineering students for roles in the public and private sectors.
