Head of Electrical Engineering Department Welcomes New Students

The Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Montadhar Sami Shaker, met with the newly admitted first-year students for the 2022-2023 academic year. During the meeting, Dr. Shaker warmly welcomed the students and wished them a successful academic journey, urging them to embrace their responsibilities as builders of the nation.

The meeting was attended by the academic assistant, heads of scientific branches, and department coordinators, who emphasized the importance of this new phase in shaping the students’ personalities and aligning them with the nature of engineering studies.

Additionally, university regulations were explained, including guidelines on student conduct, uniforms, and relationships with peers and faculty. The students were also distributed among the department’s available specializations: Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.
