Intelligent lighting control system using microcontroller
A project submitted by first-year electronic engineering student Hussein Hamid Jabr, under the supervision of Professor Sabah Abdul Hassan Katafa.
The project aims to explore the possibilities of controlling electrical devices using sound. This is achieved by designing a simple system based on an Arduino board, a sound sensor, and a relay.
The sound sensor is used to capture ambient sounds, convert them into electrical signals, and then
signal processing. The Arduino board receives these signals and processes them to determine whether the detected sound represents an on or off signal.
Based on the Arduino signal, the relay turns the light bulb on or off.
This project is a practical example of how electronic technologies can be used in everyday applications.
