Seminar Highlights COVID-19 Vaccines and Treatment Protocols

On December 22, 2020, the University of Technology hosted a seminar on COVID-19 treatment protocols and upcoming vaccines. Organized by the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Student Activities, in collaboration with Al-Rusafa Health Directorate, the event featured discussions led by Dr. Amal Abdullah Majid.

Key topics included advancements in treatment protocols, vaccine updates, and preventive measures. Dr. Majid highlighted the Ministry of Health’s significant strides in diagnosis and treatment, which have resulted in higher recovery rates and reduced mortality.

The seminar concluded with certificates of appreciation awarded to the speakers and organizers by Asst. Prof. Dr. Montather Sami Shakir, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department.
